REFLECTION TASK 2
I chose to write about technology which has a significance
for us because it interests all of us. Technology is developing constantly. It
is advancing day by day and it is impossible to stop it. Everybody encounters
with it even in their daily lives. It makes our daily works easier; however, it
has an undeniable impact on our social affairs and health. On the other hand,
some people think technology is unavoidable and we cannot live without it. In
addition, we are able to do a lot of
works within a short time thanks to
technology.Moreover, its impacts are not much important because if we had to do
all our works ourselves, our health would still be damaged. Yet, if we did not
use technology at all, this damage would not be genetic. Technology impairs not
only us, but also the future generations. For example, atom bomb was a big
invention but when it was thrown to Hiroshima/Japan in 1945, it destroyed
everything. Most people died badly. Pregnant women gave births to disabled
babies even a few years had passed after the disaster. Technology is a part of
our lives but we should use it limitedly. Today, most children prefer staying
at home and playing computer to going out with friends. Yet, technology is not
enough for their social development. Therefore, we had better use it to help
us, not to harm us.
